Review of Butterfly on a Wheel (2007) by Shellie H — 27 Oct 2009

This is a fairly exciting thriller with surprisingly good and believable performances turned in by Pierce Brosnan and Maria Bello. Butler is a little over-the-top. At times his lines seem forced, aside from one scene in which his characater is compelled by Brosnan's to kill another. The tension and mixed emotions in that one scene make the movie worth watching.

It's a dark tale with a handful of semi-predictable twists and enough action to keep you, if not on the edge of your seat, slightly off its center.
