Review of BUtterfield 8 (1960) by Loni K — 15 Oct 2004
Elizabeth Taylor is fantastic and sexy in this film about a mentally unstable call girl. I wouldn't say she is better in this than she is in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The film seems a little ahead of its time with its subject matter.
I enjoyed "Butterfield 8" more than I thought I would. It is a great melodrama with deep meaning.
