Review of BUtterfield 8 (1960) by Ricardo Junior S — 06 Feb 2012
Dated and not particularly interesting, "Butterfield 8" still excels because of a pulsating sexy vibe and good efforts by Mildred Dunnock and Elizabeth Taylor, trying to make their characters more complex than the mediocre writing suggests.
The ending is specially awful. Taylor won an Academy Award for this performance.
