Review of Butter (2012) by Craig N — 01 Jan 2013
An unexpectedly clever comedy, Butter delivers itself as a parody of those small town competitions, which truly mean nothing, in the long run. The actors seem to be all very well casted, especially, Olivia Wilde, who delivers a performance that embodied her beauty in complete and total sexual desire and sarcastic humor.
Another great performance was that of Rob Corddry, as the kindhearted yet constantly hilarious adopted father of the protagonist. I really enjoyed this film, throughout, but I especially felt like the film reached a very natural point for an emotional situation, where you felt for the characters and understood why each one wants what they are after.
Overall, I'd say that this movie is a good one to watch, if you've got the time to check it out.
