One of my favorites from when I was younger, and still very easy to love. It's definitely my favorite buddy movie, and there's something timeless about it that makes it perfect for repeated viewing every few years from now until oblivion. The banter amongst Butch, Sundance, and the people around them is still incredibly charming and sweet in a lot of ways.

I love that when they're criminals and outlaws they're carefree, lighthearted and notably moral and respectful, but when they try to go 'straight,' things end in violence and darkness and they don't seem like heroes any longer. That the film ends the way it does, with them back on the lam and in full jest, is one of the biggest joys of my childhood years. That's just who they are, and who they are is who they want to be, and for that - they are heroes.
