Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Patrick L — 25 Apr 2011
What's wrong with this movie? Answer: Nothing.
It's my favorite western and one of my favorite movies. The performances are superb. I actually think Redford was better than Newman a tiny bit. Mainly because his character is more challenging. But I think Etta is a bit dull however she gets away with it because she's pretty.
The cinematography is beautiful, the music is modern but somehow goes with the movie, the song Raindrops is great and catchy and goes with Butch's character.
And might I say Butch and Sundance are gorgeous? I already did!
A classic that will live for ever.
