Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Vinnie V — 14 Jul 2011
The great chemistry between the two leads Newman and Redford ease the tension in this movie, where it doesn't take long to figure out that the "noose" is figuratively tightening around their necks no matter what they choose to do.
This one is an excellent mix of genres: western, comedy and suspense. It holds up very nicley through the years, like most of Newman's movies during this part of his career.
