Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Dillon L — 05 Nov 2011
This is a really good movie but there were a few problems with it. The first problem is that the very first scene establishes a mode that makes you feel like this is going to be a very gritty, violent movie and then it ends up being more of a comedy.
The bike scene with Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head was too cheesy and didn't feel like it belonged. The third problem was the picture montage when the three of them are headed to Bolivia, it just felt lazy.
The fourth problem I had with this movie is that the music they chose wasn't very good at all with the exception for the first scene. The final problem with the movie is that maybe it was too long because I started losing interest towards the end.
The end was good though and the movie did look amazing when you consider it was made 52 years ago and Robert Redman looks exactly like Brad Pitt in this movie.
