Highly recommended by Western fans everywhere, I was disappointed by this one. I'm unsure what the director was after here. If it's a character study of a couple of outlaws in the dwindling days of the old west, he didn't give us enough insight into the characters.

If it's a comic retelling of the outlaws last days, it is too long and drawn out by cinematic landscapes and stills of parties on ships. If it is an action movie, it fails miserably. Rolled all into one movie, it's a mess that I just couldn't get motivated to care much about.
