Review of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) by Jake W — 05 Jun 2013
The film stumbles over the non-presence of Katharine Ross, campy dialogue, and flat humor. These outlaws are out of place in time, and not just thematically: the purposeful anachronisms and embarrassingly goofy situations that they are placed in make it hard to take this film seriously.
