A lot of movies with the dastardly duo, in this case Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, fall short because the characters never really seem to click. In this movie however, you feel a bond coming through between Newman and Redford that you get in no other movie.
The rest of the movie is amazing too-it's funny, smart, powerful, and even touching towards the end. Yet without Newman and Redford, this movie would fall flat. Luckily, they both showed up, and made this a must-see classic.
