Butch Cassidy is a great Western film. The story telling is top notch, and the acting is very good. The dialogue was well written and the movie was a thrilling watch. Sometimes it came off as predictable and some of the editing was kind of annoyingly odd.
The pacing was off at times, but the film's final act was an unforgettable and thrilling climax. Newman and Redford are great, and really elevate the status of this amusing western film. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid gets 4/5 stars (B+).
