Review of But I'm a Cheerleader (2000) by Josiah M — 17 Oct 2007
An over the top comedy about a girl sent to a camp for gay children where they are essentially programmed to be straight. Not only is it about their sexuality, but it's also about making sure they follow their natural "gender roles".
It also has a bit of a romantic theme to it, which blossoms quite nicely at the end. The movie shines though, in its absurd way the camp teaches straightness, because it isn't exactly rated G.
