Review of But I'm a Cheerleader (2000) by Allison L — 18 Oct 2007

This was like my favorite movie in the world. Rupaul Charles performing as a male, Natasha Lyonne being adorable, and then in my feminist film class there was this discussion about heteronormativity, which wasn't really so much a discussion as someone complaining about the 'love scenes' not being lesbian enough.

This annoyed me. I don't think I would want my lesbianism another way. I am giving it 4 stars because this conversation has in some ways ruined this movie for me.
