Review of Busman's Honeymoon (1940) by Tracy — 13 Oct 2008
IM not a big Gene Wilder fan, but if I had to pic atleast one movie I actually liked with him in it, I would pick Haunted Honymoon. Wilder was believeable in his role as the bumbleing OCD radio actor. The story had great mystery, a little bit predictable but still fun.
The ending blindsided me. I was expecting it to end completely diffrent, I think thats why I liked this movie. Dom Deluise was funny in everyway as the Wilder's spooked aunt. I think the whole werewolf angle was terrific, but could have used some serious revising.
I recomend this to everyone who wants a good laugh.
