Review of Bushwhacked (1995) by Dustin P — 29 Jun 2014
Ehhh. It's a fine kids movie, I suppose. I didn't really hate it and I wasn't bored, but I wasn't laughing a whole lot either. It's like one of the many Daniel Stern movies to come out in the 90s where it relies too heavily on him being goofy to try and get laughs.
It works really well for kids (and I remember liking it more as a kid) because it's fast paced, moving from scene to scene without lingering on one setting or joke for too long, and the comedy is very much childish, but not inappropriate.
It's basically City Slickers for children.
