Review of Bus Stop (1956) by Deanna B — 13 Sep 2008
It was interesting enough to contiue watching, but what terrible characters. I mean, as people they suck. The rodeo rider (Beau) is ignorant, violent, very angry, and abusive of Marylin's character. He doesn't understand women (which is understandable), so he thinks they aren't people. And in the end he says sorry, & she agrees to marry him. No thanks.
Oh, and while I love Marilyn (who doesn't?), she had the completely wrong dialect of a southern accent. That's just irritating.
