Review of Bus Stop (1956) by Terri H — 11 Oct 2008
Yet another in my long list of trainwrecks. With the two leads being both mentally challenged, you would think that they'd have at least one likeable quality. All I can say was that Marilyn pulled the comedy off very well.
..but that did not balance out the horribly annoying character of Bo, played by Don Murray. Thank Goodness for Eileen Heckart and the actress who played Gracie, as they were the two characters that stood out and made up for what all the others lacked - a likeable personality.
