Review of Bus Stop (1956) by Lucy W — 19 Mar 2009
Truly, this is Marilyn's best serious/dramatic acting even if the picture in itself is simple. It's starts out a little slow and Don Murray definitely plays one of the most annoying characters I've seen.
It's a good story, and the ending really kind of upsets you because you had hoped for something different, but I guess back then, they wanted "happy" endings, right? Great film though, different from other Marilyn films for sure.
