Oh ho this was right after my "City of God is the greatest thing since sunshine" period. Anything less than City 2 was gonna disappoint. The doc very, very quickly gets procedural rather than emotional and ceases to work for me.
A very thorough examination of a severely unsettling event but it fails (at least to my mind) in captivating me to watch the rest (I did and never rose above a level of mild interest).
