Review of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) by Jackie L — 25 Nov 2007
A poignant and heartbreaking look at the final days of true Native American life. Viewed as a complement to "Deadwood," this film becomes even more rich.
This isn't necessarily a story that we've never heard before, but the filmmakers attention to detail (the subtle nuances of 1800s life, and all the little things that the natives give up), and the beautiful vistas make for a very rewarding viewing experience.
