Review of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) by Jay N — 13 Jul 2008
This film probably represents the most accurate account of the displacement of the American Indians. Beach and Quinn turn in solid performances but the actor who portrayed Sitting Bull did a fantastic job. I was most impressed with the cinematography. Several scenes in this film were captured perfectly.
Not surprisingly, any history buff will enjoy this movie but I think everyone should watch it in order to appreciate what Native Americans suffered through.
