Review of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) by David K — 04 Feb 2009
As good as it gets when a film is made for television. Strong performances and a harrowing, true-to-life account of the subjugation of Indian land by greedy American politicians and the cleansing of Native American culture through oppressive Christianized education.
This film works overtime when it comes to getting its message across and the few lacking cinematic elements will not leave you feeling lacking.
