Review of Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) by Giorgos V — 22 Apr 2010
Worthy, well-made and relatively hard-hitting but nowhere near as effective as the book on which it is based. The inevitability of the white man's will prevailing is the main theme and not enough is made of the outrageous inhumane treatment of the conquered natives.
Maybe the audience wasn't thought to be ready for that?
