Review of Burt's Buzz (2014) by Brad S — 26 Nov 2014
To my surprise, Burt's Buzz stung me. A big part of what makes this documentary better than expected is the way it was shot and edited. The filmmaking is a bit weird like Burt himself. But it kept my interest, at least until the last half, when the story felt like it dragged on and Burt's quirkiness started to just get annoyingly slow.
This would probably have made a better 1-hour TV documentary than 90-minute feature film.
