Review of Burnt (2015) by Jonathan G — 06 Feb 2016
A 'redemptive' story of a former celebrity chef turned broken individual, who then tries to reinvent himself and get back in the game. As the story progresses you soon care very little about him after you see his arrogance, ignorance, and verbal, even physical abuse toward the people closest to him. You may want to watch it for the food, but the drama is weak, the romance is something you don't really want to cheer for, and in the end he may get what he wants, but you're not sure you want the best for him.
Rating: 6/10.
