Review of Burnt (2015) by Kevin S — 01 Nov 2015
Kept my interest at every point. Gave more than the elite point of view on food fare (i.e. discussion at Burger King, pulling talent from "common" eating spots). The story is about redemption, struggle, rising above addiction and finding belonging and balance (over ambition and competition).
Captivating look inside the back of the house. Not just a super sexy man speaking French (but that didn't hurt). Yes as many point out in their comments - everyone wants to get it on with Bradley Cooper but as far as this "character" goes he gets the second chance because they see more in him.
Otherwise they might only hate him for his talent.
