One of the films that lead the path to the maturity of the Mexican cinema. The story of two sibilings that sruggle to overcome the agony of their mother, their incapability to interact to the world and the dissorders caused by it is treated in such a melancholy tone but without being anachronic but youthful. it's a humble story, far of being pretentious but full of strong emotions and a feeling of their need of change and being free.
