Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Alyssa Sparrow H — 11 Jul 2011
The closest the Coen Brothers have come to to maing an outright farce this is a very funny film that looks like it should be silly but has some moments of extreme violence and (I think) is trying to say something serious about the the stupidity of Americans! Like 'Fargo' ther are different story strands here that sometimes tie up but not one single character has enough information to work out what is going on.
Watch the misunderstandings escalate and enjoy great comedy performances from Pitt, Clooney and McDormand.
