Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Adolpho N — 05 Dec 2012
I was disapointed with the Coan Brothers on this film but not as much as Old C for Old Men but I won't even get into that flick! This movie could have been funny and almost good but fell completely apart when things were never shown and just seemed to happen.
Couldn't tell who was telling the truth or what the point was but wasted time. The movie made you choose a character you thought was going to carry the film then piss on them. I just felt sorry for everyone by what this movie called an ending.
John Malk gets the shaft from his cheating wife that wipes him out clean! Clooney's a horny nut job!Richard Jenkins was the only character that had good sense but got chopped because he had a crush on Frances McDormand, who was nuts but is the only character who benifits from the film and Pitt was set to be the comic relief for the first half then gets it the worst then anyone.
I think the movie tries to point out how stupid people are and thats it. Trust me I didn't spoil nothing from this film. One star for the cast and the other for the deaths. Where's Steve Bushemi?
