Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Matthew M — 25 Jun 2011

I'm not quite sure what it is; it's complicated, it's over-the-top and it's fragmented, but, as with most Coen Brother films, isn't that the point? It's hard to get into and, whilst there are some laughs, it's not the most hilarious film around.

It's pretty dark at times, but if you don't take it too seriously then you might have a good time. Just don't expect typical Coen fare.
