Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Jasen L — 02 Sep 2012
The story in this movie makes me somewhat embarrassed to be an adult, that said, it also effectively shows how much children and adults are the same. This is classic Coen brothers comedy (Fargo, Raising Arizona) quirky, silly, shocking and intelligent. This movie however, didn't make me bust a gut laughing. I wonder if the scenes that had the audience laughing so uproariously, would have them so uproarious if the cast wasn't so famous...that is to say, was the line funny or does seem funny because Brad Pitt is delivering it? Dunno.
Impressive cast tho...yup...impressive cast.
