Review of Burn After Reading (2008) by Henry F — 17 Apr 2014
An intelligently crafted crime comedy by the Coen brothers that shows things are a lot simpler than we think. It's by the Coen brothers, so its obviously very well directed. Brad Pitt's character is also worth pointing out, he does surprisingly well at playing an idiot, something that's never usually done by him.
It's full of colourful and ironically idiotic characters and is overall fun to watch, but with its slightly-too-loose ends and overall general insignificance, it's definitely not one of the Coens' best, but it's far from bad.
