Review of Burn (2012) by Jessica S — 04 Dec 2012
This was an unbelievably well-done documentary that revealed the side of Detroit firefighting rarely seen by outsiders. The footage was stunning, the human interest, heart-gripping, and it is a must-see for fire buffs, but for anyone who doesn't shy away from important issues.
The purpose of the documentary is to bring attention to the dire plight of the DFD, but it leaves the viewer with so much more. A must see.
