Burlesque Movie Review.

11/26/10 http://the-rag-review.info Burlesque is a film about a small town Iowa girl who has had enough of small town life. She can sing, dance and she's wasting away in her hometown. It's time for a change.....so she grabs her last pay check and buys a bus ticket to L.A. to follow her dreams. While in L.A. looking for a job as a singer / dancer she passes the Burlesque Lounge and feels enticed to enter. When she does...She decides that this is the dream job for her. Here is my first problem. Who in their right mind is going to travel 2500 miles to get a job as a glorified go-go dancer when they have the talent of Christina Aguilera?? The character played by Christina seems like a person who knows what they want out of life but instead settles for a career as a Burlesque dancer.
