Review of Burlesque (2009) by Najmah S — 25 May 2011
Essentially it's Tesco-Value Moulin Rouge. Christina Aguilera is surprisingly ok in her feature debut performance but the dance sequences are boring, the song's are beyond dull, the plot is stagnant, Cher seems to have been replaced with a dead eyed motion capture representation of herself sometime in post production and the whole film is just cliched to within an inch of its life.
I was screaming and begging for the film to finish but I forced myself to get to the end, but its 2 Hours Long!? 2 HOURS LONG!!!?!?! Talk about spreading the plot thin...
