Review of Burlesque (2009) by Bijou G — 03 Jul 2011
This is on Starz all weekend & I DVR'd it, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was blown away by Christina Aguilera's & Cher's Voices, enjoyed all the Sexy Burlesque & it made me miss Bob Fosse, who would have approved.
There are elements of Cabaret all over & up in it ! I just wish they had such a Show in Mpls., cause I'd be there ! Sometimes we all just need a little Raunchy Bump & Grind as a Lollipop for the Soul, & I'm not ashamed to admit, I watched it twice & I'm keeping it on my DVR for awhile & next time, I'm dancin with it!! I also covet the costumes, so there!!!!
