Review of Burlesque (2009) by Jan-Kristòf L — 26 Jul 2011
I had heard this was slated by the critics, and once again I chose to ignore them and have wanted to see it since it came out. I was a little worried, but I really didn't need to be. I loved it, it was brilliant.
The dances incredible, the singing amazing and the character chemistry perfect. Whoever chose to put Cher and Stanley Tucci together was a genius, their characters and their relationship steals the show.
As a singer in her debut film, I didn't feel that Christina lacked, she was great. There was an evident chemistry between her and Cam, and there is the cutest drunk flirt scene I have ever seen between them.
I watched it with my fiance and we were both laughing in a good/aww that's so sweet way.
