Even though it has few laugh out loud moments, Burke And Hare is a perfectly decent film, which benefits from first rate performances from its excellent cast and a worthy script. It is a good black comedy in the tradition of Ealing Studios .
.. neither hilarious nor deep, and definitely not perfect, but it's passing fair. A wet Saturday afternoon movie.
