Review of Burke & Hare (1972) by Orla N — 01 Nov 2010
John landis who hasent directed for about 10 years and has to be said has made some crap over years, redeems himself a great deal here, not the classic a american werewolf in london is or indeed will be.
but the humour is there and help;s it along nicely, pegg and surkis are also entertaining to watch, rifting off each other greatly, the famous story now getting another outing, is a interesting one , and 19th century edinburgh looks great, some great production value.
isle fisher, tom wilkinson, and ronnie corbett offer great support and the film works well,.
