Review of Burke & Hare (1972) by Gregg A — 20 May 2012
Not sure why so many people hate this one? My guess is the great talent involved with 'Burke and Hare' should have resulted in a much better film than the passable effort we saw. But having said all of that.
.. it's certainly not a bad film. John Landis competently directs Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis in this dark comedy about the real life grave robbers Burke and Hare. The film looks great, has some chuckles, and entertains.
But it all should have been better. Still, it's certainly worth a look.
