Review of Buried (2010) by Grant H — 16 Jan 2015
Fantastic movie. Buried is a spell-binding, thrilling, gut-wrenching, skin-crawling, and powerful suspense movie. Cortà (C)s sets up this film wonderfully with smart and brilliant camera angles/lighting, making a convincing claustrophobic feeling for the audience, as though the audience is in the box with Reynolds.
Reynolds delivers a phenomenal performance, possibly the best of his career. It's a good role for him as it shows his talents in dramatic roles rather than just comedies.
