Review of Buried (2010) by Tim R — 10 Mar 2012
Wow... An unassuming little film, basically a one man show for Ryan Reynolds who, whatever your thoughts of him beforehand, is quite up to the task of carrying the load and delivers the entire performance inside a wooden box.
Minimalist in both concept and execution, yet director Rodrigo Cortes pulls off some interesting camera work and keeps the tension and suspense at a fever pitch. Been wanting to see this for a while and I'm glad I finally did.
