Review of Buried (2010) by Yusuf H — 13 Apr 2012
This movie is abundant with stupidity and utter random events that don't make sense. At first, you feel for the guy in the coffin, but after watching for 30 minutes you actually want him to die. He is burning all his bridges, screaming and being rude at people, and expecting others to help him when he doesn't give them any information that can enable them to help. At one point, a friend of his tries to help him, and after the call he says "fuck you" to her before hanging up.
The story is ridiculous and sprinkled with random events that don't make sense. At once point, a snake suddenly enters the coffin. Like, where the hell did that come from?
At another point, he cuts his finger - and afterwards he dies. So why the hell is there a scene where he cuts his finger?
The only satisfaction I got from this movie was at the end when the main character died.
