As a fan of the horror and suspense genre, I wanted to give this film a try, and I really hoped I was going to like it, but it just wasn't engaging at all. I kept waiting for an establishing shot of somewhere - anywhere other than the same box for 94 minutes.
No shots of family members worrying about Conroy, no shots of the authorities working to try to get him out, and aside from some video footage sent to his phone, no shots of any terrorist/victim activity.
The tagline just may as well flat-out say: "He is never leaving this box, and neither is the camera.".
