Review of Buried (2010) by Chance W — 28 Sep 2013
Buried has Ryan Reynolds leave his comfort zone (literally) by having him lift the weight of and carry an entire film virtually by himself in one of the most theoretically terrifying and unsettling settings in recent years: you guessed it, a coffin.
And he succeeds, Buried has audiences shaking, sweating, and tearful in hopes Reynolds' character survives, using cliché, although necessary filmmaking techniques to make an entire film set in a coffin.
.. well, stay alive.
