Review of Bunraku (2010) by Brad M — 23 Apr 2012
Bunraku is striving for something, what it is is not clear. It brings beautiful set pieces to life, throws in kungfu and western than tries to bring it all to life in a guys and dolls fashion and at some point even seems to channel Warren Beatys Dick Tracy.
In the end Im not quite sure what I have seen, or even if I liked it, but it is something else.
