Review of Bunraku (2010) by Brandon B — 20 Apr 2012
After Hartnett's performance in Luck Number Slevin it should be safe to assume that he could aim a little higher than a movie with a list of cliches as a script. Woody Harrelson provides a solid performance however and comes across as the only well thought out character.
Their choice in art direction is what saves this movie though, as it creates an aesthetic which remains visually stimulating while masking the budget that they were working with.
