Review of Bumblebee (2018) by Le C — 16 Jan 2019
This is the best Transformers movie. Ever. It's also the best Herbie movie. If the Michael Bay movies are like a bag of stale chips -- just junk food that doesn't even taste that good to begin with -- then this movie is like a stealth health food -- it tastes so good you can't believe it's actually good for you.
This movie tells a heartfelt coming of age story juxtaposed with an ET-esque Herbie movie. It made me cry, and I can't say that about any other Transformers movie. So there's that.
