Bumblebee is a terrible film with a good concept but bad execution. What made me mad about the film is the BBFC rating. I don't know what the BBFC were thinking when they decided to make this movie PG suitable. The film had moderate bad language, strong sex references, mild gore and moderate violence. This movie would definitely make a 12 easy and makes all the marvel films look like they should be a PG.
John Cena's acting in this film was terrible. I noticed that John Cena spat in a scene which I think was a movie mistake. The film can be very confusing and one of the best scenes was the opening fight scene.The film can be enjoyable at times and can be hilarious. The only thing that kept this film alive was the humour made by bumblebee and good acting from Haille Steinfield. The final fight scene was so boring and quiet gory. Therefore I would recommend this film unless you are over 12 because it is too hard to handle.
Grade D+.
